MFC short for Made Fresh Collective is a new movement coming out of Santa Cruz, Ca.  Started by local artist Taylor Reinhold, the MFC crew is comprised of talented artists within the community that are starting to make a wave in the Central Coast art scene.  With a thriving screen printing operation, Taylor and his crew have been putting their art on shirts, and injecting the local community with some of the freshest steeze around.  As word gets out about MFC, there no denying that the sky is the limit.  Checkout the MFC Website for more info about the collective, as well as some sick pics!

Rain is Relaxing

I recently came across a new website called RainyMood.com.  It has been making a splash online as more and more people have discovered this relaxing site.  The site features a simple music player that plays a thirty minute rain track that can be played while listening to your favorite music, or just as a nice relaxing back round filler when you go sleep.  Be sure to check it out!

There is a new agriculture related website called KnowACaliforniaFarmer.com which is giving people an inside look at California farmers.  The site has a collection of video interviews from California farmers, and allows viewers to get a up close and personal look at the people who are leading the way when it comes to America's Agricultural industries.

New Media Taking Over

Media has been quickly moving to the internet.  As television, radio, and newspapers have become a thing of the past, as more and more people are moving to to the internet, and digital media outlets.  These new outlets include Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.  All three have been changed  how we communicate on a daily basis.  The three have been major players in the transition to digitally dominated age, which has pushed a majority of our media outlets to the internet.  

This transition to the internet has allowed people to be more specialized with what media they want to consume, as well as share with others.  By having this specialization, it also helps advertisers become more specialized with the content, and location their messages are sent.  The ability to specialize media on the internet, along with the webs easy access from any computer or cell phone, it is hard to imagine this digital media wave to stop crashing anytime soon.
